Tiffin University (5-10, 2-9 GLIAC) fell behind big early and caught back up, but it wasn't enough, as Malone put together too many runs to outdistance the Dragons 76-69.

Tiffin fell behind right at the opening tip off, as the Pioneers raced out to a 19-3 lead. Tiffin fought back over the remainder of the first half, outscoring Malone 27-14 to close out the half and trail just 35-30 at halftime.

Malone effectively put the game away with a 16-5 run to open the second half, as the Dragons battled back again at the end of the game but came up short.

Malone shot well throughout the game, finishing with 53 percent from the field while TU shot 42 percent. They outscored TU 30-18 in the paint while also outrebounding the Dragons 35-26.

Karli Mast led the Dragons with 18 points and was joined off the bench by Kaylee Patton, who also scored 18 points. Anya Misko was next with 8 points. Deidre McKay and Katie Miller led the Dragons with 4 assists apiece.
