Tiffin University (5-8, 2-7 GLIAC) got off to a rough start on the road against Hillsdale and could not narrow the gap in the second half, falling 73-53.
The Dragons trailed just 15-9 at the 12:13 mark of the first half but the Chargers exploded on a 30-14 run to finish the half. They took a commanding 45-23 lead into the intermission. The Dragons could get no closer than 17 points the rest of the way.
Tiffin's poor shooting hurt them the most, as they managed just 23 percent for the game. TU outrebounded Hillsdale 43-40, including 20 offensive rebounds, but could never get on track from the floor. The Dragons also made just 4 of 19 three point attempts.
Jillian Adams led the team with 10 points and 6 rebounds, while Bre Nauman had 9 points and 8 rebounds. Katie Miller and Karli Mast also finished with 9 points apiece.
