Tiffin University (6-6, 3-5 GLIAC) had numerous chances to take control on the road at Lake Superior State but could not find the consistency to do it, as poor field goal and free throw shooting led to a close 70-64 loss.
Tiffin opened by falling in a 14-5 hole but rebounded to post a 24-14 run over the remainder of the first half to take a 29-28 lead into the lockerroom.

The Dragons were not done yet, however, as they stormed back on a 6-1 burst over the next 30 seconds to cut the deficit to 3 points with 26 seconds left. The Lakers hit their free throws down the stretch, though, to end the game.
