It didn't take long for top-ranked Ashland to assert itself against Tiffin University (9-9, 6-8 GLIAC).

The Eagles opened on a 17-0 run and never looked back, racing to a 87-47 victory over the Dragons. The Eagles led 45-20 at the half following their hot start.

Ashland used solid shooting and consistent defense to hold TU down. They outshot the Dragons 53 percent to 32 percent, as the Dragons also went 0-for-9 from three point.

Macy Byrd led the Dragons with 14 points and was the lone player in double figures. Melissa Gilliland, Mary Kate Campbell, and Jessica Harris also had 6 points apiece for TU. Harris and Jessica Farr led the Dragons with 5 rebounds each.
