TIFFIN, Ohio - Four players scored in double figures as the Tiffin University men's basketball team (7-12, 4-9 GLIAC) beat Lake Erie (5-11, 2-10 GLIAC) 78-44, Thursday evening at the Gillmor Center.

The two teams jousted back and forth for the first six minutes. Steve Walczak hit a pair of free throws to put Lake Erie up 11-9 at the 13:54 mark.

Tiffin responded with a 15-2 run to lead 24-13 with 10:22 to go. The Storm hung around and trailed 26-19 with 7:10 left. The Dragons finished the half on a 16-7 run to effectively end the game.

For Tiffin, junior Joe Graessle had 23 points, blocked three shots and tied the school record with seven steals. Freshman Eric Roby had a solid game with 16 points and eight rebounds. Off the bench, sophomore Mike Brown had a career-high 15 points and freshman Khaleal McCormick had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

For Lake Erie, Garrick Sims, Nate Tait and Riley Thomas had seven points each.
