With 14:46 left in the second half, Malone University held a 12 point lead and looked in control over Tiffin University (8-7, 5-6 GLIAC). The Dragons had struggled shooting all night and were also having difficulty holding onto the ball, committing 14 turnovers up to that point.

Then the Dragons turned it around.

Over the remaining 14 minutes, TU outscored Malone by a whopping 34-9 margin. They only turned the ball over four more times in that span and improved their shooting percentage from 21 percent in the first half to 60 percent in the second half, eventually putting the Pioneers away 56-43.

One big reason for the TU turnaround was their dominance inside. TU outrebounded Malone 43-31, including 12 offensive rebounds. Jessica Harris led the way with 14 points and 15 rebounds, including 11 in the first half. She also had 2 blocks and 2 steals. Jessica Farr came off the bench for 8 rebounds.

Stephanie Kelly also had another solid all-around game, totaling 11 points with 6 assists and 5 rebounds while Jordan Fraley tacked on 11 points with 4 assists. Melissa Gilliland also had 7 points.

Overall Tiffin held Malone to just 30 percent shooting from the floor including 2 for 22 from three point. TU also capitalized on Malone's 15 turnovers, scoring 19 points off MU miscues. They also held a huge 24-1 edge in bench scoring.
