Tiffin University (7-7, 4-6 GLIAC) and the University of Findlay battled back and forth all day, with 10 ties and 9 lead changes witnessed by the nearly 1000 people in attendance.

But the Dragons could not hold a late lead, as the Oilers put together a 13-3 run over the final 3:20 of the game to pull out a 67-61 victory at home.

After both teams seesawed to a 27-27 halftime deadlock, the Oilers came out of the lockerroom and pushed their lead to 35-28 early in the second half. TU responded with a 12-5 run that tied the score at 40-40 with 10:24 to go.

The Dragons continued to play well over the next seven minutes, building a 58-54 lead with 3:20 to play. But TU then went cold, as the Oilers hit their free throws and held the Dragons off the board just enough to get the win.

TU managed to shoot just 32 percent from the field and were narrowly outrebounded 41-38.

Jessica Harris had another strong game with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Steph Kelly also had 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Melissa Gilliland added 14 more points, while Jessica Farr had 5 rebounds.
