TU (14-11) started off by winning two of the three doubles matches. Andres Torres/Brian Coffman won 8-5 while Robbie Ball/Leonid Vladimirov posted an 8-3 victory. The lone doubles loss came in the day's closest contest, as Luiz Carvalho/Kyle Johnson fell 9-8 (7-5).

In singles, Coffman (6-3, 6-1) and Vladimirov (6-1, 6-1) got quick wins, while Carvalho fell at first singles 6-0, 6-3. But the Dragons put the Oilers away when Robbie Ball posted a comeback victory, winning 0-6, 6-3, 6-3.
