The milestones are starting to pile up this season for Mandy Jaeb and the Tiffin University women's basketball program.

Jaeb led the Dragons with 16 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds in a solid 66-51 win over the University of Findlay, a win that gave TU a 16-6 record (11-5 GLIAC), the most wins in a season for a TU team since 1994-95 when the team posted 17 victories. The school record for wins is 18, and the Dragons now have that in their sights.

But for Jaeb, her 16 points also put her in rarefied air, as she eclipsed the 1500 point plateau with 1507 points. Only one other player in TU history has done that - Angie Shardo Nunn, TU's all-time leading scorer with 1820 points.

Jaeb also went a perfect 6-for-6 from the line, putting her just three free throws away from setting a new career free throw record, a record currently held by Lois Collins Conrad with 367.

The Dragons, playing without injured guard Holly Focke, battled with the Oilers early, posting an 18-9 lead at the 11:06 mark before the Oilers bounced back to tie it at 24-24 with 4:00 left in the half.

But then the Dragons got hot, ripping off a 9-0 run to close the half and take a 33-24 lead into intermission.

TU maintained the momentum after the break, holding a steady 10 point lead throughout the first 10 minutes of the second half before pushing it out to the final margin of 15 points.

TU's defense made up for some below-average shooting, as the Dragons held the Oilers to 27 percent shooting, 25 percent in the second half. TU managed just 33 percent from the field but controlled the rebounds 51-43. TU also had a 16-11 edge in made free throws.

Jennifer Johnston had 13 points while Jessica Harris also had 10 points and 12 rebounds down low while also going 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. Jillian Adams had 7 points and 8 rebounds, and Stephanie Kelly also had 7 points. Amanda Baute also had 6 rebounds.
