A cold spell over the final 7:28 spoiled a nip-and-tuck game as Tiffin University (3-4, 1-3 GLIAC) fell 61-51 at Ferris State University.

TU, which held a 27-26 lead at the half, battled back and forth with the Bulldogs all day. The game featured 11 ties including a 48-48 deadlock with 7:28 to play. But Ferris State took advantage of an offensive blackout by the Dragons, outscoring TU 13-3 over the remaining time to put the game away.

The Bulldogs dominated inside, outrebounding TU 48-30 and outscoring them 28-16 inside. They outshot TU 40 percent to 32 percent, including a 46-34 percent edge in the second half.

Jillian Adams led the Dragons with 14 points along with 6 rebounds, while Jessica Harris had 13 points with 10 rebounds. Steph Kelly also had 10 points to reach double figures.
