Flat second half sinks Dragons on road

Tiffin University mustered just 25 percent field goal shooting and hit only 9 of 24 free throws, as a close game at the half got away from the Dragons in a 59-38 loss on the road at Grand Valley State.

TU trailed just 21-16 at the half but the Lakers opened on a 14-3 run to start the second half and never looked back.

Mackenzie Storlie led the Dragons with a career-high 17 points along with 4 rebounds but no other Dragons player reached double figures. Jessica Harris had 4 points with 8 rebounds while Jordan Fraley had 5 points.

TU was also outrebounded 47-38.
