DETROIT, Mich. -The Tiffin University volleyball team (1-4 GLIAC, 1-9) lost 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-23) to Wayne State (3-1 GLIAC, 4-4), Sunday afternoon at Matthaei Gym.
 
  The first set was close early with Wayne State holding a 3-2 lead. The Warriors then went on a 12-3 run to lead 15-5, effectively ending the set.
 
  In the second set, the teams battled to an 8-8 tie. WSU attempted to put the set out of reach with a 12-6 run to make it 20-14.
 
  The Dragons responded with a 5-1 run. Freshman Erin Turner and sophomore McKenzie Wright stuffed Madie Kent to make it 21-19. After trading points, Wayne State scored the next three points to take the set.
 
  In the third set, the Warriors scored the first four points. They took the lead to 15-9 before TU came back with a 12-3 run. Wright slammed the ball off the block to make it 21-18, Tiffin.
 
  The teams went back and forth for a bit. A kill from Turner made it 23-21. WSU dug deep and scored four straight points to take the match.
 
  For Tiffin, sophomore Danielle McQuade had two service aces and 10 digs. Senior Lindsay Heller had seven digs, giving her 1320 for her career.
 
  For Wayne State, Kristen Bulkiewicz had 13 kills while Lindsay Graciak collected 10 digs.
