Tiffin University saw its GLIAC regular season come to a close in an 8-1 loss to GLIAC-rival Wayne State. The Dragons will now enter the GLIAC tourney with a 7-13 record, 1-8 in the conference.
Brian Coffman picked up the lone victory on the day for TU, winning in straight sets at third singles 6-3, 7-6. Leo Vladimirov also dropped a close three-set match 1-6, 6-2, 5-10 at fifth singles. The other singles losses were all straight sets, with Andres Torres falling in the closest match 2-6, 4-6.
In doubles play Coffman/Robbie Ball fell at second doubles in a nailbiter 7-9, while Vladimirov/Craig Martin also lost a close one 5-8.
