Men's tennis drops three matches at GLIAC tourney

Tiffin University fell in all three of its matches at the GLIAC Tournament played at Midland, Michigan this weekend.

TU, the eighth seed, took on top-seeded Northwood on Friday, falling 5-0. Brian Coffman/Robbie Ball fell in the closest match in doubles 3-8, while Ball and Santiago Revelo dropped singles matches in straight sets.

In their second round match, TU fell to Michigan Tech 5-0. Leo Vladimirov/Craig Martin dropped a narrow 5-8 doubles match, while Luiz Carvalho/Andres Torres also fell 4-8.

In the seventh-place match, TU took on Findlay, falling 5-1. Numerous close matches went Findlay's way, with the lone winner for TU being Coffman/Ball in doubles 9-7. Vladimirov/Martin fell 8-9, while Carvalho/Torres also lost 5-8. In singles, Coffman lost 6-7, 1-6 and Martin dropped a 2-6, 4-6 decision.
