Tiffin University opened the game red hot against Malone University and never let up, streaking past the Pioneers 76-43 to improve to 3-0.

TU opened on a 12-2 run and continued the hot shooting over the first 10 minutes, expanding their lead to 30-7 at the 9:41 mark. By halftime, TU held a 46-25 lead.

Karli Mast had 14 points by halftime, as the Dragons defense held Malone to 24 percent field goal shooting while also outrebounding the Pioneers 29-13.

Mast eventually finished with 21 points, including hitting on 4 of 5 three point shots. Jessica Harris had 12 points, while Stephanie Kelly also finished in double figures with 10 points. Mandy Jaeb had 8 points, and Amanda Baute had 6 points with a team-best 10 rebounds.

Overall the Dragons held Malone to 27 percent field goal shooting while hitting at a 48 percent clip. TU's defense also forced Malone into 22 turnovers while the Dragons also outrebounded the Pioneers 43-28.
