Tiffin never got on track from the opening tip-off, as the Cardinals burst out to a 12-0 run and never relinquished the lead.
Tiffin tried to claw their way back into it, narrowing the deficit to 6 points with 5 minutes remaining in the half, but still trailed at the half 25-18.
Tiffin's defense forced SVSU into committing 27 turnovers, which the Dragons took advantage to score 18 points off opposing miscues. The Cardinals, however, hit their clutch free throws over the final 30 seconds and put the game away.
The only Dragons player in double figures was Mandy Jaeb with 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Jessica Harris had 9 points and 10 rebounds. Focke had 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while Amanda Baute also had 7 points.
