Tiffin University (4-10) lost two three-set singles matches and a couple close doubles matches, falling to Wayne State on the road 6-3. Harry Smith won 6-0, 6-3 while Andres Torres (4-6, 6-3, 6-1) and Leo Vladimirov (7-6, 6-1) also won singles matches but Luiz Carvalho fell 6-3, 3-6, 2-6 and Brian Coffman fell 2-6, 7-5, 4-6. TU dropped all three doubles matches, with Carvalho/Torres falling 4-8 and Vladimirov/Smith falling 4-8.
