Tiffin University held the lead for most of the first half and continued to hold a lead during the second half, but a 12-2 run by Saginaw Valley in the second half put the Dragons behind by 10, a hole they couldn't pull themselves out of as they fell to the visiting Cardinals 69-55.
TU led 30-24 at the break thanks to the hot hand of Brian Scott. The junior guard was three of three from behind the arc and added a two point goal to have a team high 11 points at the half. The Dragons, however, were outscored 45-25 in the second half. Scott and DeAngelo Jordan led the Dragons with 11 points each. Mohammed Fall finished with 9 points and 11 rebounds.
TU (2-21. 1-17 GLIAC) is back in action Thursday when Northwood comes to town.
