Tiffin University picked up a big road GLIAC win, beating Wayne State in comeback fashion 21-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22, 1511 to improve to 7-4 in the GLIAC.
The Dragons used strong late hitting and potent blocking to mount their comeback, down two sets to one. Wayne State managed to hit just .091 in set four and .094 in set five while the Dragons hit .281 and .192 to put the match away.
Brittany Teaford had a strong game, hitting .333 with 11 kills and 9 blocks, as she helped TU to 13 team blocks overall. TU also had 87 digs in the match.
Danielle McQuade had 12 kills to lead the team, while Maureen Kurtz had a big day with 8 kills. Jessica Adams totaled 33 assists and 4 blocks while Lindsay Heller had 30 digs.
