Tiffin led 40-34 at the half but an ice cold second half led to a 76-64 defeat at Ashland. The Dragons shot just 20 percent from the field after firing 53 percent in the first half. The cold spell led to a huge swing that saw the Dragons leading by 8 points in the first half but eventually traililng by 16 points in the second half.

Ashland outscored TU in the paint 36-14 and took advantage of 19 TU turnovers leading to a 22-7 edge in points off turnovers. Mandy Jaeb had 19 points and Jessica Harris had 10 points with 14 rebounds, but no one else reached double figures. Karli Mast had 9 points and Jennifer Johnston had 8 points.
