Tiffin University (1-9, 0-5) stayed fairly close in the first half but could not keep pace with Ashland in a 87-60 loss. The Eagles held a 43-26 scoring advantage after halftime to put the game away. TU trailed at the half 44-34. The Dragons could not get themselves on track offensively, shooting 34 percent in the game while Ashland converted at a 53 percent clip. Ashland also held a 42-31 edge in rebounding.
Lemar Pughsley led the Dragons with 13 points and 6 rebounds while Brian Scott was also in double figures with 10 points. Mike Hammonds and Travis Spahr had 9 points each while Mohammed Fall had 8 points.
