Tiffin University (3-2) trailed by two points at the half, but bounced back with a strong second half in beating Ferris State 74-65.
The Dragons shot 44 percent in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 44-33 in the half. The biggest advantage for the Dragons was at the free throw line, where TU drilled 24 of 29 shots and held a 24-7 edge over FSU at the line. Tiffin also took care of the ball, committing only 9 turnovers while forcing 21 miscues by the Bulldogs.
Mandy Jaeb once again led the Dragons with a solid overall game, totaling 22 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Jaeb was joined in a balanced attack by Katrina Clark inside for 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Jessica Harris also played well with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Karli Mast scored 13 points and 5 rebounds.
