The Dragons (3-5, 1-3 GLIAC) battled back and forth with Lake Superior State all day but could not pull ahead at the end, missing a three point shot at the buzzer in falling 67-64.
The Dragons held an 8-point lead in the first half, but were outscored 23-10 over the final 10 minutes of the half to trail at the half 35-30. But Tiffin bounced back quickly after the halftime break and played a back and forth affair the rest of the way.
The biggest difference came at the free throw line, where LSSU held a 23-10 advantage. The shooting percentages, rebounding, and turnovers were nearly identical. Mandy Jaeb led the Dragons with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Karli Mast had 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jessica Harris also had 9 points and 12 rebounds.
