Tyler Wise enters his second year at Tiffin University as the Assistant Sports Information Director in 2025-26.
Wise comes to Tiffin after spending the last two years at Defiance College (NCAA Division III) as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. While there, he handled everything social media that included creating all game day graphics on top of working primarily with the men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, cross country, track and field, women’s basketball, and softball programs. He also helped assist in the total recreation of all the sports record books.
He began his sports information career as a two-year student assistant in the sports information office at Marietta College as a game day assistant and worked a multitude of sports throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons. He also had the opportunity to be part of the working crew for postseason tournaments that Marietta hosted including the conference men’s basketball tournament, NCAA men’s basketball tournament, baseball conference tournament, and both the NCAA Division III baseball Regional and Super Regional.
Also at Marietta, he was a member of the men’s tennis team. Outside of Marietta, he was a Ticket Sales Intern with the Akron RubberDucks, a Festival Support Intern for the Orange Bowl Committee, an intern for the Boca Raton Bowl, and served as a volunteer for the 2021 NFL Draft that was held in Cleveland, Ohio.
A native of Marietta, Ohio, Wise graduated from Marietta College in 2022 with a B.A. in Sport Management.
