Dr. Sandra Geringer was appointed the new Faculty Athletic Representative prior to the 2026-27 academic year.
Geringer has an extensive background in both higher education and sports. She was previously the Director of Recreation Management and Sports Studies at the United States Sports Academy and has been a valued member of the Tiffin University community since 2022. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Education Studies and Assistant Dean of the School of Arts, Education & Humanities.
Dr. Geringer has taught sport management courses through the United States Sports Academy in the degree programs as well as abroad, including the International Diploma in Physical Education and Sport Coaching in Malaysia and the Sport Authority of Thailand Certification in Sports Management program. She has extensive experience as a tennis professional and has coached women’s and men’s tennis teams at the high school and collegiate levels.
