Miranda Huddle

Miranda Huddle joined the Tiffin University softball staff as an assistant coach in August of 2026, bringing a decorated history of program leadership, player development, and championship success.

Huddle arrives at Tiffin following a standout tenure as the Head Softball Coach at Edison State Community College. In 2025, she guided the Chargers to their first conference championship and first NJCAA Division II national ranking votes in program history, earning 2025 OCCAC Coach of the Year honors. She followed up her award-winning campaign by setting a school record for single-season wins with a 35-8 record in 2026. Under her guidance, Edison State reached three consecutive regional tournament appearances (2024–2026) and produced 23 All-OCCAC selections, including two Pitchers of the Year, a Player of the Year, and two Golden Glove winners.

In addition to on field accomplishments, Huddle prioritized high standards in the classroom by guiding the Chargers to back-to-back NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors in 2024 and 2025. Prior to leading Edison State, she served as an assistant coach for the Chargers for a year, spent time on staff at Miami East High School, served as a travel softball coach, and works as a private hitting and defensive instructor. She also gains experience as a video coordinator for the NCAA Division I University of Dayton softball program, utilizing Dartfish software for film tagging and breakdown.

A standout collegiate athlete herself, Huddle was a four-year varsity letter winner at Ohio Northern University (2014–2018). During her career with the Polar Bears, she captured an OAC Tournament Championship, finished as an NCAA Division III Regional Runner-Up in 2018, and was named to the All-OAC Tournament Team. A leader on and off the diamond, Huddle was a three-time Academic All-OAC selection, a two-time NFCA Division III All-American Scholar Athlete, and represented her team on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Huddle graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Northern University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics.
