Megan (McMenemy) Bammann enters her first season as Head Coach of the Tiffin University softball program after serving as an assistant coach for four seasons.
Since joining the Dragons in 2022, Bammann has helped establish Tiffin as a consistent contender in the G-MAC. The program captured back-to-back regular season championships and compiled an impressive 41-7 conference record over the past two seasons. During her tenure, she has played a key role in player development, contributing to 17 All-G-MAC selections.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Bammann has spent the past decade working with various youth organizations. Most recently, she served as Associate Head Coach for the Ohio Bombers. Prior to that, she was a head coach with Bo Jackson Elite and Ohio Classics for four years and an assistant coach with Central Ohio Ice for four years, helping develop players ages 8–18. She has also worked with Bally Sports Group as a youth sports coach.
During her collegiate playing career, Bammann competed for four seasons at Ohio State, making 49 starts across 82 appearances for the Buckeyes. She was recognized three times as an OSU Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten selection. As a senior, she recorded career-highs in all major offensive categories, including a .263 batting average, 11 RBI, and five extra-base hits. Defensively, she compiled a .980 fielding percentage with 27 assists and only three errors.
Bammann concluded her playing career with one season at Ohio University, where she earned Second Team All-MAC honors after starting 48 games and batting .309 with five home runs and 20 RBI.
A Westerville, Ohio native, Megan is an OSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in health and rehabilitation sciences. She holds a master's degree in recreation and sport sciences from Ohio University, with a specialization in coaching education.
