After a successful collegiate playing career at both Clarks Summit University and Lancaster Bible College, Maddie Atkins joined the Tiffin University softball program as a Graduate Assistant Coach in the summer of 2026.
Atkins most recently competed at Lancaster Bible College, where she also served as Vice-Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). In that role, she represented student-athletes in conference leadership meetings, helped plan campus events, and worked alongside athletic administrators to promote conference and NCAA initiatives. Atkins brings valuable experience as a collegiate player after competing at Clarks Summit University and Lancaster Bible College. She appeared in 59 career games for the Chargers, posting a .292 batting average, while also excelling in the pitching circle with a 16-14 career record. During her senior season, Atkins turned in her best campaign, going 12-6 with a 3.54 ERA across 110.2 innings pitched
In addition to her playing experience, Atkins has worked as a softball instructor at BatBreakers Academy in Tennessee since 2023, providing lessons to athletes of all ages while assisting with day-to-day operations. Her experience leading camps, clinics, and individual instruction has helped her develop a passion for mentoring young athletes both on and off the field.
Atkins earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lancaster Bible College and is pursuing her master’s from Tiffin University.
