Tiffin University

Lynsey Rich is a second-year assistant at Tiffin University.
 
Rich was an assistant volleyball coach at Ohio Northern for six seasons from 2019-24. She was a part of the coaching staff when the Polar Bears volleyball team won both the regular season and the conference tournament championship in the Ohio Athletic Conference in 2021.  

Rich, a 2013 Mohawk High School graduate, was a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and track in high school. As a starting libero at Mohawk High School from 2010-2012, Rich helped lead her team to a State Final Four appearance. She was an Honorable Mention All-Ohio selection her senior season and holds the record for career digs at Mohawk with 1,414. 
 
Rich took her talents to Malone University in Canton, Ohio, where she was a defensive specialist for the Pioneers. In 2016, Malone switched to the G-MAC conference, and Rich was the libero for the Pioneers and received Second Team All-G-MAC honors. In her final match as a Pioneer, she surpassed 1,000 career pickups. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in both early childhood education and mild/moderate intervention specialist. 

After graduation, Rich obtained a graduate assistant position with the Bluffton University volleyball program. She assisted the program for two seasons and focused on recruiting and game day management along with other duties. After completing the graduate program, Rich was hired as the head volleyball coach at Wynford High School in 2019. She served as the head coach for one season prior to transitioning back to the collegiate scene.
