Alex Mutchler joined the Tiffin University Athletics staff in August 2026 as the Athletics Game Day & Ticket Operations Manager. In this role, he oversees game day operations, ticketing, fan engagement initiatives, and event management for the Dragons.
Mutchler arrives at Tiffin after working within the University of Findlay Athletic Department, where he helped coordinate visiting team operations, managed game-day functions, assisted with ticketing and media operations, and supported NCAA regional championship events in football, tennis, and golf. He also gained professional experience with the NCAA national office as a Post-Graduate Intern in Corporate Relations, assisting with premier events including the Division I Women's Volleyball Championship and the 2025 Men's Final Four.
In addition to his collegiate athletics experience, Mutchler has worked with the Flag City Sluggers, where he oversees fan engagement initiatives, theme days, partner activations, and game-day scripting. His background also includes marketing, branding, event operations, and project management roles through The Oiler 10 Consulting Agency, AR Marketing, and various leadership positions at the University of Findlay.
A former standout student-athlete, Mutchler competed for five seasons with the University of Findlay track and field program, earning four NCAA Division II All-America honors and receiving the prestigious Mancuso Award in 2026. He was also a multiple-time All-Academic selection. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Findlay in 2026 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Business and Marketing in 2023.
