Kaleigh is from Hudson, Wisconsin, and intends to major in Exercise Science at Tiffin. She is the daughter of David and Julie Sansone and has one sibling, Keegan.

At Hudson Senior High, Sansone was a state qualifier for track and field, two-time state qualifier for lacrosse, two-year team captain for lacrosse, and three-year lead scorer for her lacrosse team.
