Tiffin University

Paige McMenemy enters her fifth season as Head Coach of the Tiffin University softball program in 2025-26. 

The Dragons had a record-setting year in 2025. Tiffin's 43-14 record set a new school Division II victory mark. The team was ranked 17th in the nation and won the G-MAC regular season championship. Nationally the Dragons were 5^th in shutouts, 10^th in ERA, 13^th in hits, 14^th in doubles, 16^th in RBI, 17^th in W-L percentage, 18^th in team strikeouts per 7 innings, 19^th in WHIP, 21^st in triples, 22^nd in runs, 24^th in scoring, and 24^th in batting average. In the G-MAC, TU led in batting average, doubles, ERA, hits, home runs, on-base percentage, RBI, scoring, shutouts, slugging percentage, runs, team strikeouts per 7 innings, triples, and W-L percentage.

In 2024, the Dragons had another strong season under McMenemy, finishing 29-24 including a 14-12 mark in conference play. This continued the upward trend of the program and was the most wins overall and in G-MAC play in five seasons.

In 2023, the Dragons finished 24-26 including 13-11 in G-MAC play. The team reached the G-MAC semifinals after qualifying for postseason play, with their three tournament victories being the most postseason wins in 12 years.  

Overall the Dragons finished 22-28 in her debut season, 11-11 in GMAC play. Five players landed All GMAC honors, including First Team selection Maddie Woods and Elite 25 winner Sarah Klein.

Prior to coming to Tiffin, McMenemy served as Assistant Coach at the University of Toledo since 2019, primarily working with the pitchers. While with the Rockets, McMenemy helped the team win its first Mid-American Conference Tournament title in program history. McMenemy coached Erin Hunt to a spot on the MAC All-Tournament Team and the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. 

McMenemy is a 2018 graduate of Ashland University and split her collegiate playing career between Mid-American Conference member Akron and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference member Ashland. 

McMenemy's coaching history includes a combined six years of private pitching and hitting instruction, along with five years as a head travel softball coach. Most recently (May 2018), McMenemy worked on the softball staff at Bo Jackson's Elite Sports in Hilliard, Ohio, where she was a camp instructor. 

As a player, McMenemy spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons with the Zips and the 2017 and 2018 seasons with the Eagles. In four years, McMenemy appeared in 91 games (46 starts), tossing 351.1 innings for a 3.99 ERA and 203 strikeouts. McMenemy collected Second Team All-GLIAC honors in her junior season, and her 39 mound appearances are tied for the third-most in Ashland history.  

A native of Westerville, Ohio, McMenemy earned a bachelor's degree in science education from Ashland, majoring in middle-grade education with minors in science and math.
