TIFFIN, OHIO – Six Tiffin University student-athletes earned recognition on the 2025-26 NCAA Division II Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The At-Large category includes participants from 23 sports across NCAA divisions, including golf, lacrosse, and wrestling.
Representing Tiffin men's golf,
Daniel Aitken and
Mitchell Brassard earned the honor. In men's lacrosse,
Tyler Nutting and
Nick Overocker were selected, while
Max Millin and
Bret Minnick represented the Dragon wrestling program.
To be nominated for Academic All-District consideration, student-athletes must be a starter or significant reserve, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. CSC member institutions can nominate up to six student-athletes per gender for at-large recognition. The top scholar-athletes in each district advance to the national Academic All-America ballot.
Mitchell Brassard, a business management major with a 3.73 cumulative GPA, was also a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) All-Conference selection this season. He recorded four top-10 finishes and earned a runner-up finish at the Midwest Collegiate. Brassard also placed 17th at the G-MAC Championships. Teammate
Daniel Aitken also earned CSC All-District honors, posting a 3.90 GPA while majoring in finance. Aitken was the highest TU finisher at the G-MAC Championship as he finished tied for ninth with a 221 after carding a 77 in the final round.
Junior goalkeeper
Tyler Nutting, a cybersecurity major with a 3.93 GPA, earned the honor after starting 10 of 14 games for the Dragons. He posted a .502 save percentage and closed the season on a strong note, recording double-digit saves in six straight contests. Sophomore faceoff man
Nick Overocker earned the distinction for the first-time with his 3.90 cumulative GPA and is a finance major. Overocker went 115-of-214 from the faceoff x and scooped up a team-high 51 groundballs.
Representing the Tiffin men's wrestling program were
Max Millin and
Bret Minnick, both business management majors. Millin holds a perfect 4.0 GPA through his sophomore year, while Minnick boasts a 3.74 GPA through his junior season. On the mat during the 2025-26 campaign, Millin compiled a 14-10 overall record, while Minnick finished 13-10 at 141 lbs.
