Tiffin University (3-5) could not keep pace with 14th-ranked Florida Southern, falling in a number of close matches 6-1.

After dropping the doubles point with losses in two of the three matches, TU got its sole point from Francesca Milani after a marathon 7-5, 5-7, 1-0 (13-11) slugfest. 

Tiffin fell in three other three-set contests. Jemimah Choi lost 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (14-12), Brooke McNeal fell 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7), and Anisha Sivakumar suffered a 6-0, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) setback.

Tiffin's other victory came at doubles where Milani/Imani Shah got a 6-1 win.
