Tiffin University (4-0 G-MAC) dominated in the late matches, outpointing Findlay 29-17.
The Dragons opened with two solid decisions.
Anthony Aniciete (125 pounds) eked out a 4-2 victory while
Cael Woods (133) upset G-MAC champion Nate Knowlton 8-3 to put TU up 6-0 early.
After dropping the next two bouts, Tiffin rattled off five straight wins to put the victory away.Â
Casey Barnett (157) and
Nolan Gessler (165) powered their way to pinfall victories. Barnett won in 1:34 while Gessler got the pin in 2:59, just beating the clock.
Emilio Arellano (174) hung close and pulled away late with a 10-5 decision, while
David Davis (184) and
Max Millin (197) both looked strong with major decisions. Davis won 17-5 and Millin won 12-3.
Tiffin will continue its G-MAC season with a home contest against Davenport on Feb. 8 at 4 pm.
