Tiffin University (3-4) lost by the slimmest of margins at Charleston, falling 4-3 after dropping three three-set singles matches.

Tiffin opened by winning two of the three doubles matches. Erna Brdarevic/Katarina Yates won 6-2 and Francesca Milani/Imani Shah won 6-3 to secure the doubles point.

Milani also got a singles win, outlasting her opponent 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Brdarevic also won a marathon 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.

Jemimah Choi fell 0-6, 7-6, 6-4 in an epic contest, and was joined in the tough luck club by Tea Schoulmann-Dore with a 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 loss and Shah with a decisive 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) setback.

Anisha Sivakumar also lost a close bout 6-4, 6-4.
