The Tiffin University men's and women's track and field teams returned to action on Friday afternoon at the Larry Brown Invitational hosted by Heidelberg, and put together a very strong performance with multiple event winners on both the men's and the women's side.
Men's notable results:
Te'Sean Jefferson won the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.99 seconds.
Kameron Walker won the 400 meter dash with a time of 49.79 seconds.
Ramon Rodriguez won the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:34.71.
Octavious Joe won the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.42 seconds.
The 4x400 relay team of Aiden Champagne, Ariel Clark, Brody Devlin, and Walker placed first with a time of 3:27.57.
Levon Graham took first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters (6' 2.75").
Reggie Rogers won the triple jump with a mark of 14.59 meters (47' 10.5"), which was a new personal best.
Brock Carlson won the shot put with a mark of 16.58 meters (54' 4.75") and Thomas Nelson won the weight throw with a mark of 20.20 meters (66' 3.25"), a new personal best also.
Women's notable results:
Jasmine Kennerson won the 60 meter dash with a new personal best time of 7.76 seconds.
Nevaeh Lewis won the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.57 seconds.
Ally Denny won the 3000 meter run with a personal best time of 10:54.50.
Ayanna Woods won the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.45 seconds.
The 4x400 relay team of Kennerson, Mikelia Strong, Nevaeh Lewis, and Lexi Rodriguez placed first with a time of 4:27.50.
Makayla May won the pole vault with a mark of 3.50 meters (11' 5.75").
Kaitlyn Gum won the shot put with a mark of 13.62 meters (44' 8.25").
