Tiffin University kicker Ben Rudolph has been named a Fred Mitchell Award Preseason nominee.

The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 35 placekickers for their excellence on the football field throughout the 2024 season and for their off-field contributions throughout the year.

The Fred Mitchell Award will recognize kickers that were nominated by their schools or are at the top of their division for terrific performances through November 22, 2025 (regular season statistics only). The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in December based on performance on the football field and in the community. 

Rudolph was a Don Hansen's Gazette Honorable Mention All American in 2024 as well as a D2CCA Second Team All Region selection. He led all G-MAC kickers in scoring and was second only to teammate Ronald Blackman in overall scoring in the conference. He went 12 for 14 on field goals and led the G-MAC in field goal percentage. He also finished 48 for 49 on extra point attempts.
