Tiffin University (20-7) battled Wayne State in an epic Midwest Region Championship match, falling just short 4-3 in a match that saw four singles matches go three sets.
Tiffin got the doubles point with two narrow victories.

Anaelle Lepinay fell in another close one 7-5.
In singles, TU fell behind 3-1 as Lepinay fell 6-1, 6-3. Two other singles matches went the distance, with Choi falling 5-7, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 and Barrett lost 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
The Dragons battled back, with Milani posting a 6-2, 7-5 win and
Carina Gilman pulled out another three-setter 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-4.Â
That brought the whole match down to a battle at sixth singles.
Anisha Sivakumar dropped the first set 6-3 but then bounced back to win the second set 6-7 (3-7). She came up just short in the deciding set 6-3.
