Tiffin University (10-5, 1-0 G-MAC) opened its conference season successfully, defeating Walsh 4-1 on the road.

Tiffin won the doubles point by taking two close matches. Celine Ferron/Francesca Milani won 7-6 while Emily Barrett/Jemimah Choi also won a tight one 7-5. 

The Dragons then put the match away with three singles victories. Choi won 6-3, 6-2 while Barrett also won 6-1, 7-5. Carina Avram cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win. The lone loss was from Anaelle Lepinay, who dropped a tough three-set match 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-4).
