Tiffin University (2-0 G-MAC) put together wins early and late to defeat Lake Erie 25-16.

Anthony Aniciete (125 pounds) picked up a 10-4 win while Cael Woods (133) pulled out a slim 12-11 decision to open the contest.

Tiffin then dropped three in a row, as Elijah Dorsey (141) was pinned in 2:35, Maddox Simcoe (149) lost 10-4, and Thaddeus Stuckey (157) lost by major decision 15-5 as Lake Erie took a 13-6 lead.

Tiffin responded by winning four of the final five matches. Nolan Gessler (165) dominated with a tech fall win 15-0 while Emilio Arellano (174) also won via tech fall 20-5.

After David Davis (184) lost by a narrow 5-4 margin, the match was tied 16-16.

Tiffin pulled out the win with a victory at 197 by Dean Hetrick by tech fall 15-0 and another win by Jake Powell (285) by major decision 11-2.
