Football team lands numerous All G-MAC selections

A total of 12 Tiffin University football student-athletes were named to the All G-MAC Football team by vote of the conference coaches.

Landing First Team honors were defensive backs Malik Baker and Jacob Tueimeh, punter Joseph Weiers, running back Ronald Blackman, wide receiver Ethan Holbrook, and defensive lineman Khris Walton.

Earning Second Team honors were linebacker Ethan Evers, tight end Joey Zalewski, quarterback Alex Johnson, offensive lineman Mustafa Feika, wide receiver Emari White, and defensive lineman Gio Albanese.

Baker was third in the conference in passes defended. He posted 48 tackles and had 2 interceptions with 10 passes broken up.

Tueimeh led the team in tackles with 103 and had 3 forced fumbles. He led the G-MAC in tackles and was the only player with more than 100 tackles. He also led the conference in forced fumbles.

Weiers led the G-MAC in punting average with 42.1, placing a league-leading 17 of them inside the 20. He also had 8 punts of more than 50 yards.

Blackman led the conference in rushing with 820 yards. This marks Blackman's third straight First Team All G-MAC honor after his All American season in 2024.

Holbrook was 7th in the conference in receiving yards with 52.3 per game. He had 575 yards receiving to lead the team along with a G-MAC leading 11 touchdowns.

Walton was 3rd in the G-MAC in sacks with 10.5 while also placing 6th in tackles for loss with 13. This is his second consecutive First Team honor after his All American season in 2024.

Evers was 5th on the team with 47 tackles and tied for the team lead with 2 interceptions. He also had 3.5 tackles for loss and 1 sack.

Zalewski was one of the top tight ends in the conference, finishing 4th on the team with 351 yards and 2nd with 5 touchdowns.

Johnson was the top quarterback in the G-MAC, leading the conference in yards passing by 700 yards, and also leading in completion percentage, touchdowns, completions, and efficiency. This is his second All G-MAC honor after being named Offensive Player of the Year in 2024.

Feika anchored an offensive line that led the G-MAC in scoring and yards per game. The team also had the best passing offense.

White was second on the team with 548 receiving yards along with 4 touchdowns. He also placed 8th in the G-MAC in receiving yards per game.

Albanese was second on the defensive line with 30 tackles including 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. He also had a fumble recovery.
