Tiffin University held on to a late lead, clipping Ashland in a battle of Top 25 teams 23-21 on the road.

TU jumped ahead early with Cael Woods (125) getting a forfeit win and Max Shore (133) posting a 21-5 tech fall win as the Dragons built an 11-0 lead.

Ashland picked up wins in the next two weight classes to bring the score to 11-10, Tiffin. Casey Barnett (157) picked up a pin in 1:35 and Emilio Arellano (165) got a 12-6 victory to push the Dragons back ahead 20-10.

After an 8-2 loss at 174 pounds by Jakob Hurley, David Davis (184) got Tiffin's last win with a close 4-1 decision. 

A tech fall for Ashland at 197 brought the Eagles to within 23-18, setting up a decisive battle at 285. Tiffin's Jake Powell lost a narrow 3-1 decision but kept it close as the Dragons held on for the two point victory.
