Tiffin University's men's cross country team enjoyed a stellar performance in their 2024 opener, winning the Tiffelberg Open at Paradiso Fields.
The Dragons totaled a low of 18 points, easily outdistancing Ashland's 56. Heidelberg was third with 77 while Thomas More was fourth with 99.
Tiffin placed the top four runners in the 5k race and totaled five of the Top 8.
Talel Khalfi won the race with a time of 14:52.5 while
Louis Ginane was second in 15:18.7,
Dalton Gleeson was third in 15:28.8,
Gabe Douce was fourth in 15:43.0, and
Harry Hayes was 8th in 15:50.4.
Other top finishers for Tiffin included
Ashton Vent (14th in 16:14.1),
William Marks (18th in 16:26.9), Nico Colosimo (23rd in 16:48.5), and
Kade Sutherland (24th in 16:56.7).
