Tiffin University (28-3) saw its record-setting season come to a close, falling to Wayne State 4-1 in a battle of nationally-ranked teams in the Midwest Region final.

The Dragons dropped two doubles matches to fall behind early. Anaelle Lepinay/Maeva Maxch fell 6-3 and Celine Ferron/Sarah Roy lost 6-4.

Trying to bounce back in singles play similar to what they did against Northwood in the first round, the Dragons got their lone point from Maxch who won 6-3, 6-2. 

Things turned in Wayne State's favor when Emily Barrett fell 6-3, 6-2 and Lepinay dropped a close battle 6-4, 7-5. Roy dropped the final match 7-6, 6-2.
