Tiffin University (8-1) opened its spring break road trip with two matches in Florida.
The Dragons fell to Embry-Riddle 4-2 in their opener for their first loss of the season, and followed that with a big 4-3 victory over Florida Southern.Â
In the win over Florida Southern, the Dragons came back in the final match to get the doubles point.

Celine Ferron won a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-1) to pull it out, while
Maeva Maxch/
Anaelle Lepinay also won their match 6-2.
In singles, Lepinay and
Jemimah Choi both won three set matches. Lepinay won 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (10-3) while Choi won 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9).
Jessica Peace also won her singles match in another thriller 6-1, 7-6 (8-6).
Emily Barrett lost a tough match 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) while
Carina Avram also fell in a narrow 7-5, 6-4 decision.
Against Embry-Riddle, the Dragons got their two points with singles victories as the two teams did not play any doubles matches.
Maeva Maxch won a tough three-set match 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 while
Carina Avram also won 6-3, 6-4.
Anaelle Lepinay dropped a three-setter 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 while
Jessica Peace also lost a heartbreaker 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5.
Jemimah Choi lost another close one 6-2, 7-5 while
Emily Barrett fell in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
