Tiffin University's
Talel Khalfi had a strong showing at the NCAA Midwest Regional, qualifying for a trip to the NCAA National Championships.
Khalfi ran a personal best time of 30:56.31 to finish 5th overall and earn the national berth. He becomes the first Tiffin cross country runner since James Ngandu in 2017 to qualify for the NCAA National Championships.
Overall the Dragons finished 11th of 27 teams. Grand Valley State won the event followed by Lewis University and Michigan Tech.
Louis Ginane and
Dalton Gleeson were the next highest placing Dragons. Ginane was 35th in 31:52.11 while Gleeson was 36th in 31:52.22.
Gabe Douce (33:28.19) finished 118th overall while
Ashton Vent (34:01.50) placed 143rd.
