Tiffin University opened its dual match season with a close 25-24 win at Albion.
Tiffin won four straight weight classes in the middle weight divisions and also picked up a point in a close loss to give them the winning margin. 
Juliana Alejandro (103 pounds) opened with a tech fall win 15-4 but Tiffin dropped the next three weights with Lexis Heidelbaugh (110) falling in 1:11 and Makaya Crisenberry (124) getting pinned in 34 seconds. Tiffin also forfeited 117 pounds.
Tiffin then won four straight bouts. 
Ciara Riner (131) got a pin in 1:44 followed by another win by fall at 138 pounds by 
Sienna Sanborn in 4:27. Ari Carrasquillo (145) got another pin in 2:45 and 
Erin Martin won Tiffin's last match of the night at 160 pounds in 4:21.
Jordan Torres-Carillo (180) lost her bout 6-1 but managed to get a point by keeping the bout close. It proved to be the difference when 
Alexis Bilka-Durdon (207) was pinned in the final match. 
Tiffin (1-0) will now compete in the Adrian Invitational on Nov. 11.
