Talel Khalfi placed 38th of 259 runners at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championships held at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, California.
Khalfi crossed the line in 30:30.0, a personal best and the fifth-fastest 10k time in school history. Former NCAA national champion James Ngandu holds the top four times in the 10k.
William Amponsah of West Texas A&M won the race with a time of 29:40.8. Khalfi was also the second-highest G-MAC finisher, with Findlay's Noah Fisher placing 34th in 30:21.2.
