Tiffin University finished 7th of 31 teams at the Bob Del Rosa Collegiate Open.

Gavin Owens (157 pounds) was the top placer for Tiffin, taking 3rd place. He posted wins over Ashland 6-3 and Glenville State 6-2 before falling to Cleveland State 5-0. He took third after a medical forfeit.

Anthony Aniciete (125) also placed fourth. He had wins over John Carroll 8-4 and Indianapolis 9-2 before dropping his last two rounds on medical forfeits.

Emilio Arellano (157) also placed fifth. He defeated Ithaca 9-3 before falling 4-2. He then bounced back with wins over Ashland 4-3, Lake Erie 4-1, and Midway 16-0.

Other Dragons getting wins included David Davis (174) via pin over Salem in 3:14 and 4-1 over Seton Hill; Dean Hetrick (197) by fall over Mercyhurst in 4:08; Jakob Hurley (174) 2-0 over John Carroll and 4-2 over Punisher WC; Max Shore (133) 19-4 over Lake Erie; and Kyle Magyar (284) in the freshman/sophomore division 5-2 over Mercyhurst.
